WelcomeWe have prepared these notes for you, hoping that you will have a pleasant and peaceful stay in Nerja. Please read carefully the instructions that we have written on the back of this page. They will be useful to you during your stay. If you are a client of Menyber Global Services SL, and you need help or would like to obtain more information, please contact our office, whose address, telephone numbers and opening hours can be found on the previous page. We have indicated the location of our office on the map that we have included.
Office Hours
Information
If you run out of water:
- Check the main shut-off valve (usually outside, near the entrance door).
- Ask your neighbors if they have water, to make sure it is not a general outage.
- If after these checks there is still no water, call the office.
Please place your rubbish in tightly closed plastic bags and deposit it in the containers provided for this purpose in each residential area.
If you are staying in a detached house, please dispose of it in the municipal containers. Never leave it lying around on the street. Due to the weather, we kindly ask you not to accumulate several days' worth of rubbish inside the house, as it would attract insects such as ants, mosquitoes, etc. Please take out the rubbish after 10:00 p.m.
If you lose power:
- Check the main fuse box (usually near the front door).
- Ask your neighbors if they have electricity, to make sure it is not a general outage.
- If after these checks you still have no power, call the office.
When leaving the house, we remind you to take these precautions for your safety:
Do not leave any access door to the house open or unattended, especially when you are on the terrace or in the pool. Make sure everything is closed, as these are ideal times for opportunists, and do not leave any valuable objects in sight.
When you leave for any reason, make sure all windows, doors and gates are closed, even if only for a moment. Make sure the latches (usually in the middle, top and bottom) of the gates are also closed when you leave.
On the beach, be careful with your bag and belongings, do not leave them unattended at any time. We ask that you take special care with keys, as they could cause problems for everyone; remember: you are responsible, in case of loss, for any expenses and damages caused. If the property is equipped with an alarm, you will find instructions for its use, and it is up to you whether you want to use it or not.
Do not let anyone in who does not have our company identification under any circumstances. If in doubt, contact our office or do not let the person in, as any expenses and/or damage caused by said person will be the responsibility of the tenant.
You will be able to recognise the staff of Menyber Global Services SL because they will be carrying the key to your home, the reference number of which matches the one you have. Especially for older people: be careful with the tugs! We do not intend to scare you; be careful. Neither the owners nor our company will be held responsible in the event of loss or theft.
Upon arrival, there are usually two full butane bottles in the house, one for the water heater and a spare one located on the gas stove or elsewhere.
If one of the butane bottles runs out, put the spare one in and call the office (952 000 259) to report it; a new one will be brought to you during the day or the next day. If you need it urgently, specify this to the person at the office who assists you. If your contract does not include gas in the rental price, go to the office to pay the amount when requesting the new gas bottle. Under no circumstances leave the empty butane bottle outside the house; you will be responsible in case of loss.
HOW TO CHANGE A GAS CYLINDER:
- Make sure the REGULATOR is closed (Fig. 1).
- Hold the regulator with both hands.
- Press upward with the fingers of both hands and insert it fully into the cylinder valve (Fig. 2).
- Press firmly down on the ring with your thumbs so that the balls secure the regulator (Fig. 3).
- Check that it is correctly positioned by taking the regulator body with both hands and pulling upwards (Fig. 4).
- If the regulator comes loose, reattach it as instructed above.
When you are leaving the property at the end of your vacation:
- Leave it in perfect condition.
- To avoid any problems, we kindly ask you to respect the departure time that we have communicated to you at our office.
- Close all gates, doors and windows tightly.
- Do not take your keys with you, nor leave them inside the house or on the door when you leave.
- Please leave your house keys at our office; if we are closed when you leave, please leave your keys in the mailbox next to our office door. Thank you very much for your trust and cooperation. If you need further information, we are at your complete disposal.
